Chantal Cherry is a queer South African choreographer and performer with a BFA in Dance from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and an MFA in Choreography from UCLA’s World Arts and Cultures/Dance Department, Los Angeles. Chantal’s choreographic research is currently centered around queer identity and its representation in art and media. Her latest work created for the stage, Our Bodies At Night, has been showcased in New York City, Los Angeles, South Africa, and Vienna. In addition, Chantal’s dance films have screened in South Africa, Uganda, and several locations across the United States.
