Project Lullaby Choice follows one woman’s journey towards life, moving through abandoned landscapes as she battles her inner shadow.
Director's note: Project Lullaby: CHOICE is a dance short film that focuses on suicide awareness and prevention. As more and more awareness has been given towards mental health, there has not been enough attention given to this heavy topic due to the societal stigmatization and taboo of death, especially in Asian communities. There are many underlying reasons and emotions that suicide survivors go through that have been misunderstood by the society, which as a result, propagate blame, guilt, and most importantly avoidance and inability to empathize and support. ‘Project Lullaby CHOICE’ is meant to shed light on those behaviours and emotional turmoils that lead to the choice to let go of life.
